About the KR Wilson Style Stamps
Ford Motor Company used the KR Wilson A404B stamp set as the factory standard for serial number stamping. The I, 6, and 9 figures were a specific updated design — the 6 and 9 have a straight back (not curved), and the I is plain with no serifs. This was done intentionally to make fraudulent alteration of serial numbers more difficult to accomplish.
These stamps replicate that exact KR Wilson style to the factory correct size so your restoration is as accurate as possible.
