-------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTES -------------------------------------------------------------------- This is deliberately short. Your theme already outputs og:title, og:description, og:url, og:site_name, twitter:card, twitter:title and twitter:description through the social-meta-tags snippet, and it already outputs a canonical tag. Adding those again would duplicate them, and the browser takes the first one anyway. The two things it does NOT do: 1. There is no robots meta anywhere. Adding max-snippet:-1 and max-image-preview:large    tells Google it may quote the full answer block and show the diagram large. That is    what wins the AI Overview and the image result. 2. social-meta-tags only emits og:image for products and for articles that have a    featured image. Pages get no image at all, so the guide pages currently share as a    bare link. The block above fixes that for the two guide pages. Once the diagram PNG is uploaded to Shopify Files, replace all three instances of REPLACE_WITH_DIAGRAM_CDN_URL with its CDN URL. Until then, leave the second block out. For the touchmark post, set a featured image on the article and the theme handles the og:image on its own. Nothing to add.

Yes, We Ship Worldwide: International Ordering from RestoStamps

Short answer. Yes, RestoStamps ships worldwide. Anywhere the postal services will take a package, over 200 countries and territories, direct from Detroit, Michigan. You order the same way anyone else does: add to cart, enter your address, and live shipping rates appear at checkout.

No email required first. No special process. No minimum order.

We get this question every week, usually phrased as an apology. "I know you're US only, but is there any chance you could ship to Australia?" Or Sweden, or Japan, or New Zealand, or Argentina.

The answer has always been yes. Restoration is not an American hobby. The people rebuilding a Model A in Buenos Aires and a Bronco in Brisbane need the same correct-font stamps as the shop in Ohio, and there is nowhere local for most of them to get one.

Where we ship

Anywhere the postal services and carriers will take a package. Over 200 countries and territories: every country in the EU and the UK, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, Australia and New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and most of Asia, South Africa and much of the continent, and the Gulf states.

If your country appears in the address selector at checkout, we ship there and you will see a live rate. If it does not appear, email us and we will usually find a way. The only places we cannot reach are the ones the carriers themselves will not serve.

How to order from outside the US

Exactly the same as a domestic order.

  1. Add what you need to the cart, or send a custom stamp request.
  2. Enter your address at checkout. Rates are calculated live from your address, weight, and dimensions.
  3. Pay in USD with any major card. Your bank handles the conversion.
  4. You get a tracking number when it ships.

Custom stamps work the same way. Send the size, the text or artwork, and the material, and we quote it. Where the package is going does not change how we cut the tool.

Carriers and transit time

We ship international orders via USPS International or UPS Worldwide, whichever suits the destination and the weight. The figures below are estimates only. Actual transit depends on your exact location and on the carrier handling the final leg.

Service Typical transit Best for
USPS Priority Mail International 6 to 10 business days Most orders. Best value on small, dense packages, which is what stamps are
UPS Worldwide Expedited 2 to 5 business days When the car is on a deadline

Add our normal processing time on the front. Stock items ship in 3 to 7 business days. Custom stamps take 2 to 4 weeks to cut before they ship. Customs inspection and remote destinations add time on the back, and neither is something any seller controls. Treat every number on this page as an estimate, not a guarantee.

Duties, VAT, and customs

Straight answer, because this is where people get surprised.

Import duties, VAT, and customs fees are not included in what you pay us. Your country sets them, and the carrier or your customs authority collects them from you on delivery. That is standard for cross-border orders from any US seller.

We declare every shipment accurately at its commercial value. We will not under-declare a package or mark an order as a gift. It is illegal, it voids your insurance if the package is lost, and it puts the customer on the hook, not us. Any seller willing to do it is telling you something about how they handle the rest of your order.

Hand stamps are small and light, so duty is usually modest. Check your own country's threshold if you want the number in advance.

Why order from the US at all

Because for factory-correct restoration work, the tooling often does not exist anywhere else. Original American stamp fonts, sizes, and character sets are what we cut. If you are restoring a Model A, a Bronco, a Harley, or anything else that left a US factory, matching the original stamping means matching American tooling.

The same applies in reverse for European and Japanese marques, which we also cut, in metric sizes. See our BMW stamp guide for an example.

Get the size right before you order

This matters more when you are ordering from another continent, because a re-order costs you weeks, not days. Measure the mark on your part center to center, from the middle of the top stroke to the middle of the bottom stroke, and send us a straight-down photo with a rule in frame.

Full method, plus a size chart in both fractional inches and millimeters, in our guide to measuring a stamp. If you work in metric, that chart is the fastest way to translate what you measured into a size we cut.

Send us the photo before you order and we will confirm the size for free. Ten minutes of checking beats a month of shipping the wrong tool back and forth.

Frequently asked questions

Does RestoStamps ship internationally?

Yes. We ship anywhere the postal services and carriers will take a package, over 200 countries and territories, from Detroit, Michigan. Enter your address at checkout and live rates appear. There is no separate process for international orders.

Do I need to email you before placing an international order?

No. Order directly through the site. Email us only if your country does not appear at checkout, or if you want a freight quote on a large order.

How much is international shipping?

It is calculated live at checkout from your address, the weight, and the dimensions. Hand stamps are small and dense, so shipping is usually far less than people expect.

How long does international delivery take?

These are estimates, not guarantees. Roughly 6 to 10 business days by USPS Priority Mail International, or 2 to 5 by UPS Worldwide Expedited, after processing. Actual transit depends on your exact location and the carrier handling the final leg. Stock items process in 3 to 7 business days, custom stamps in 2 to 4 weeks.

Who pays import duties and VAT?

You do. Duties, VAT, and customs fees are set by your country and collected by the carrier or customs on delivery. They are not included in the price you pay us.

Will you mark my order as a gift or lower the declared value?

No. We declare every shipment accurately. Under-declaring is illegal and it voids the insurance if the package goes missing.

Can I order a custom stamp from outside the US?

Yes, on the same terms as a domestic custom order. Send the size, the text or artwork, and the material you are marking.

Do you work in millimeters?

Yes. Tell us the character height in millimeters and we cut to it. Our size chart converts both directions if you would rather match a standard fractional size.

What currency do I pay in?

USD. Your card issuer handles the conversion at their rate.

What if my package is delayed in customs?

Customs clearance is outside any seller's control, and it is the most common cause of a slow international delivery. Your tracking number will show the hold. If a package stalls well past its expected date, email us and we will chase the carrier with you.

Questions about shipping to your country go to Sales@RestoStamps.com. We answer in 1 to 2 business days.
